Video Tip: Crazy Talk, Jungle Talk, Summer Talk, and Talking Cats!

Printer-Friendly Format

Summer is officially here on the East Coast. I'm looking forward to all the fun and freshness that summer brings. My family has a standing once-every-three-year reunion and this is the year! Get those video cameras ready!

We vacation on a lake in Virginia - well hidden, well off the beaten track. Well away from any broadband. Last summer my brother in law and I would sneak out early am and poach broadband off the only local hotel. We'd park outside with our McD's coffee and check email, make posts, etc. This year I may get bold and just set up shop in the lobby!

I have a few new things to share with you this week. First up is from a question I saw from someone just starting out in Internet Marketing. They were intelligent but had no idea where to start. He asked if there was a "flow chart" for this kind of thing. That got me thinking. Why isn't there a chart that outlines the steps? Well for one each step has multiple components and decisions branches.

But, I went ahead and created an overview chart of one approach to internet marketing. As I mention in the article, many books have been written on each and every aspect so there is ample info out there. Take a look, I call in my Product Development Flow Chart:

The "My Day in 60 Seconds" Contest is going strong and entries keep coming in . The latest had my entire family laughing. We're not if the video is funny "strange" or funny "Ha Ha." But it IS very funny I think. Here is a link (by Paul McGregor):

Paul posted that he used a very cool application called Crazy Talk. I'm playing with it now. It is an amazing piece of software. Not sure how I'll use it yet but I know it will find it's way into my bag-o-tricks. Check out Crazy Talk here:

Never heard of this company, never heard of Crazy Talk. But the company and the product have been around for awhile. There are some gems to be found in the forums! Thanks for sharing Paul.

If you feel up to the task of submitting your 60 second masterpiece, check out the rules here:

Another gem shared was from Peter Skuse. He mentioned a new interview with Tim Ferriss of "4 Hour Workweek" fame. Find this great interview here:

I'm a huge fan of the concepts laid out by Tim in his book. Check out the rest of Tim's site as it has some great articles.

I wanted to mention part 2 of the video code: The 'M' Profile. Using this in planning, shooting, editing and marketing your videos will help set them apart.

Finally (wow, I didn't think I had a lot to say this week!) Andrew shared this amazing video. It's a three way battle for jungle supremacy! Rated PG-13 (Violence)

Have a great week!
