Tip: vConvert, Personal Google, iPhone, DRM

Printer-Friendly Format

I love new technology, especially when it is a) sleek, b) sexy, c) useful, and d) works. My new iPhone fits ALL those categories. I feel like I'm in the movie Minority Report - it's SO cool. Not only can I keep up with all my YouTube watching, but I can also put my latest productions on it and show them to my clients - in STUNNING 16 x 9!

I honestly thought it would be cool but I was off by a LONG shot. Every day I'm amazed at how well it just works.

Now I usually need a somewhat reasonable reason to get a toy tool like this. My Treo was going bonkers, typing on my PSP was a nightmare (tried editing a post once - never again), and my 17" laptop was killing me on my commutes to NYC.

So, I'm able to run almost everything from my iPhone. Tying takes a while to master - they say two weeks - and it's not predictive, it's deductive AND adaptive. To see how the typing on an iPhone works, check this video out: http://www.apple.com/iphone/usingiphone/keyboard.html

Now that I have a nice 16x9 screen, I needed somethign to fill it with. The iPhone does come with YouTube built in (and gorgeous quality) but what if your video isn't on YouTube. vConvert to the rescue. With vConvert you can download online videos direct to PC, iPod, PSP, Mobile, etc. Check it out here: http://www.vconvert.net/

I just posted a new article on DRM. In the past, DRM has been a hassle to use. Now there is a REAL solution for the REST of us! Check out the full story here: http://www.askmrvideo.com/public/240.cfm?

And now for something a little different -

While I was on the vConvert site I noticed this very fun application:
