Tip: Recognition, Trust, and Video.
I recently got in touch with a High School friend and it reminded me of the importance of recognition, connection, and trust. I got a message on Facebook from a woman who's name I didn't recognize and who didn't have any photos or profile info. I figured it was someone spamming me or just "playing" me. I went along and we had some chit chat - nothing special. I wasn't about to reveal anything too personal with a complete stranger! Well, after a while she posted some more info about herself, including her school, photos, and maiden name - sure enough I knew her and we began a more meaningful dialog and had a lot of fun getting reacquainted and exchanging info. Now your website is like the girl you don't really know. Your interested, but you don't have a connection. You recognize it as an opportunity, but not sure where it will lead. You want to get involved but you don't know if you can trust. Most people like to deal with people (and websites) they know and/or trust. This week's offering is a great free (to members) tool to help you establish trust and develop recognition and a connection. (Non-members can purchase it in our store). I saw this on a friend's site and worked out a deal so you all could benefit from it. It's called the Netasis Talking FAQ Player - and it's designed to help you establish trust in the marketplace. Here is an example I've set up to show you how can be used. http://www.askmrvideo.com/public/243.cfm It's brand-able (your own image goes in the bottom right box) and is very easy to install on your website. Other uses for the FAQ Player include:
How will you use it? Check it out: http://www.askmrvideo.com/public/243.cfm Another Tip: I really like Blip.TV. It is easy, brand-able, and best of all free. It has a ton of features and makes hosting your videos super easy. If you haven't checked out lately, it deserves a look. With so many hosting sites available (list here: http://www.askmrvideo.com/members/236.cfm) some of the really good ones get lost. Blip.tv is a good one! Stay Tuned Perry
