Hi there. I know you are getting ready for Thanksgiving and I wanted to
drop you a note a gratitude. Thanks for being a reader of my newsletter
and "occasional" email blasts promoting video marketing products. I
genuinely appreciate your time and consideration.
As the end of 2010 bears down on us, it's a great time to be grateful for
what we have. I recently watched a short video where the actor Kevin
Spacey talked about success. I believe being grateful has a lot to do
with success and I believe these two concepts go well this time of year.
You can watch the video on my Facebook page here:

I hope you have a wonderful week and a great time connecting with your
family.

FEATURE ARTICLE
Video Marketing on a Budget
As a small business owner you may not have the budget to create a top of
the line video. But, that doesn't mean you can't create videos. You
don't have to spend thousands of dollars on the best recorder and you
don't have to pay someone to record it for you. You can use your family
video camera or the one that comes on most new computers.
Once you have your video created, you're ready to start marketing it
through inexpensive techniques. These would include the following:
1. YouTube is the best video platform online. You can record and upload
just about any type of video marketing with ease. You’ll also show up in
the search engines if you choose to list keywords.
2. Use social networking, forums, article marketing, blog marketing, and
other avenues are perfect for growth in your business. Makes posts
regarding your articles as soon as possible and continue to marketing
them is important and should be done as often as possible.
3. Include the link and brief description in your newsletter and market
it on a regular basis. When you create a new video, highlight that video
and discuss it in depth.
4. Write a special report that goes with your video so you have
something to offer with it. This is a great little trick that will have
your audience enticed into watching your video to the end. Include the
link in your report and if you have the report done in time, mention it
in your video.
5. Write blog posts that go along with your video so you can market them
within the post.
6. Create a bio at the end of your articles that talks briefly about
your video and who should watch it. Make sure you include a link to
YouTube or to the location where all of your videos can be found.
Creating and marketing your videos doesn't have to be expensive. Use
what you have and make it work for you when it comes to the video. Use
the tips above to market your videos and you'll spend a minimal amount
of money, but yet you'll have success.

Small Business Videos are Possible
It may be easier for large corporations to make videos because they have
the money and the resources to make it happen. On the other hand, small
business owners may not have the abilities to make videos like that, but
it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t still make them.

VIDEO GEAR REVIEW
Maria Andros' Video Conversion
If you haven't opened a single email from me in the last week, you may
not know about Maria Andros and her Video Marketing Course - here's the
course:
https://mariaaandros.infusionsoft.com/go/sq4/video/
I love video, I love
marketing, and Maria has managed to raise the bar on the marketing side
of things. Like it or not there is a formula for marketing. There are
sales funnels, MDAs, CTAs, optins, pop ups, Belcher Buttons, Self
Liquidating Offers, OTOs, Reciprocity, etc, etc, etc.
So when a marketer pulls it all together and shares with you the tricks
that helped them have some success, I love bringing it to you. You see I
STUDY this stuff and enjoy learning what works and what doesn't. I
REALLY appreciated all the feedback I got from you all telling me what
you think of this recent video launch.
To recap, here is Maria's free training series:
https://mariaaandros.infusionsoft.com/go/sq1/video/
(Intro Video)
https://mariaaandros.infusionsoft.com/go/spv2/video/
(Second Video)
https://mariaaandros.infusionsoft.com/go/sq3/video/
(Third Video)
https://mariaaandros.infusionsoft.com/go/sq4/video/
(Final Video)
This is great stuff - whether or not you purchase anything, whether or
not you like the videos, this is a great sequence. Maria gave some good
content that was intended to establish her as someone to follow. If you
got any emails from Maria I suggest you print those out and really study
the sequence, the tone and the approach.
What worked for YOU. What didn't work for you? At what point in the
videos did you say 'WOW'? At what point did you say 'No Thanks'? Read
the blog comments under each video to get ideas of what resonated with
her audience and what didn't.
What I found interesting is that Mike Filsaime launched one of his new
products on the same day that Video Conversion dropped (Tuesday, Nov.
23rd). I don't think that was a "rolling" launch so not sure why Mike,
who is one of Maria's mentors, would overlap that.
I digress...
Here are some of my takeaways from the free series:
1 - Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.
2 - Give great information.
3 - Don't shoot for perfection.
4 - Optimize for SEO.
5 - Keep it Simple and Consistent.
6 - You can do it!
I'd love to get your thoughts as well. Drop me an email at
webmaster(at)askmrvideo(dot)com. I'd love to chat.
