I first tried out Pure Digital's camera about a year ago and hadn't tried the Flip Video Camera version until recently. The added YouTube software and new Ultra version of the camera make this a perfect choice for easy video creation.

The Flip is an amazing camera for picture and audio clarity in an easy to use, carry with you everywhere, pocket sized USB format! You can use this camera in a number of ways to create traffic for your website... follow along.

The Flip comes with a soft case, wrist strap, connection cable, instructions and even batteries.

The key to The Flip is it's built in software which allows you to upload clips directly to YouTube via a simple interface. At the bottom of this article I have a screen cast of the interface and me uploading a clip.

The ease of use (it has record and play buttons and a 4 way button) make it supper easy to create videos without hassle. Now you won't create the next award winning documentary on a Flip but you can meet the two main requirements for generating an audience with video:

1) Delivery - You can easily deliver your video to YouTube

2) Consistency - Because it's so easy, it's easy to be consistent with your program.

Now one off videos are fine for the family, but if you are courting an audience you will want consistent videos delivered frequently. The Flip is a one stop video shop. No need for fancy gear that you need to set up and tear down every time you want to shoot. With the Flip, just pull it out of your pocket or purse and record a quick clip. Upload it to YouTube when you get home and done!

What can you do with the Flip?

Have you heard of WineLibraryTV.com? You should check it out. Gary Vaynerchuk reviews wines each and every day for the past year and a half. Gary didn't have much traffic at first but soon, Gary's videos were the major marketing arm of his $50 Million online wine empire. While Gary doesn't use a Flip, he does show the benefit of consistency in both delivery and look and feel.

What works for Gary is his passion, his honesty (yes, he gives bad wines he sells bad reviews), his authenticity, and his consistency.

So, what can you do with a Flip?

Do what Gary does. Create consistent content about what you are passionate about and before you know it, you will have a huge library. The Flip makes it easy because with 2 AA batteries, a computer and a YouTube account (free) you can get into the video game TODAY.
