Help with Aweber

1. Select Service Provider
Dropdown to select a different service provider. (Aweber, GetResponse, AutoResponse Plus, 1ShoppingCart, Others). [ back to top ]

2. Form Caption
This will appear as the Title for your opt-in form. Try to keep this short so as to fit the width of the form player. [ back to top ]

3. List Name
Name / Subscriber ID provided by Aweber to identify the list associated with this opt-in form. [ back to top ]

4. Thank You Page URL
URL to redirect to after successful sign up using the opt-in form. This could be your Thank You page, thanking the user for signing up as well as to provide any further information post sign up. Default Aweber page will be loaded If you leave this text box blank. [ back to top ]

4a. New Window / Same Window
This helps to decide whether the 'Thank You' page URL and the 'Already On List' URL open in a new browser window or the same window where your opt-in form is. [ back to top ]

5. Already On List URL
URL to redirect to, if the user is already signed up to your opt-in list using the same email ID. Default Aweber page will be loaded If you leave this text box blank. [ back to top ]

6. Affilitae Code
Optional affiliate code, if you have one. This is the ID which is provided to you by Aweber when you sign up for Aweber Affiliate Program.[ back to top ]

7. Message No.
When you start to setup your autoresponder sequence for Aweber, each message that you write is given a sequential number starting from 0. You cannot edit the numbering, it is done for you. When somebody joins your list they are sent message 0 immediately and then they will be sent the others in sequence in the way you have set them up. So everyone on your list can be at different places in your sequence depending on when they joined. Aweber keeps track of where in the sequence all of your list members are. A broadcast message is simply an ordinary email and when you hit broadcast, it is sent to everybody on the list regardless of their place in the sequence so this is useful for sending out some piece of time-sensitive content for example. 8. Subscriber Name Required (check Box)
Checking this make the 'Name' field in the opt-in form mandatory (required field). Uncheck to keep the 'Name' field optional. [ back to top ]

9. Forward Variables to 'Thank You' Page (check box)
If you have mentioned a 'Thank You' page to redirect to, and you have a system in place to process the information you collected (name, email ID) , Aweber can pass on the information to your Thank You page. This may be used to personalize your Thank You page. [ back to top ]

10. Image URL
This allows you to place an image of your choice as the starting screen if the 'Auto Play' is disabled. [ back to top ]

11. Video Path
The absolute path to the video file (only FLV format is supported). You may use multiple video URLs which will be played in sequence. When you enter multiple URLs, separate them with a coma ( , ) but make sure you do not leave any space between the URLs and comas. [ back to top ]

12. Auto Play
Checking this box will auto play the video. If this check box is is unchecked auto play will be disabled and the user will have to press 'play' button on the player to start playing the video. [ back to top ]

13. Player Width and Height
This determines the width and height of your opt-in video player. The default values are 300px width and 250 px height. [ back to top ]

14. Generate button
Click this button to finally generate the embed code containing all the parameters you entered in the wizard. The code will appear in the box just below the 'generate' button (14). [ back to top ]

15. Embed Code Container box
Your opt-in form embed code appears here as soon as you click the 'generate' button (13). Now, you have to copy and paste the entire code into your HTML to get the VOM video opt-in form working on your webpage. [ back to top ]

16. Customize
Customize button opens a pop-up window with options to select 'Styles' and 'Themes' for your form. [ back to top ]
